I am a professional bus driver in Seattle so I can confidently say that these gloves are comfortable, durable and strong as I wear them for over 8 hours every day. Each pair lasts me about 9 months. Soak them in the sink with some Gain liquid detergent overnight every week. I wash them thoroughly, pierce them, then apply them and rub Lubriderm lotion on them to set them in order before putting them in the dishwasher for a day to dry them completely. tend to unravel at the creases of the fingers (but the seams won't unravel due to the thread tension - just cut them off). One last note: the tan on the inside will get onto your hands in the summer when your hands get sweaty. The best remedy is weekly washing to remove the black color over time. I have ordered them several times and can confirm that they are extremely comfortable and can withstand a lot of use before my fingers start cracking on the tips. (about 9 months of daily long-term use).
