Review on Acer Iconia A1-810-L416 7.9-Inch Tablet (Pure White) - Enhanced for SEO by Ryan Judy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Died in half a year

In general, I like this tablet, although touch controls are disabled in terms of sensitivity (sometimes you have to touch and retouch to make a selection). Battery life is pretty good, but I turned off the power to prevent draining and found a large number of applications to use with it. Don't use Google Maps, find an app that will do the job (most of the time). Love the charger/USB all in one, less stuff to carry around and lose. The audio is also a bit weak but does the job of hearing what is being said. It's very responsive and works with my Wi-Fi at a good distance when I don't want to load the big guy's desktop. Again, the price is decent, but not great. UPDATE: Died less than six months later (09/07/2013 - 02/21/2014) with very little use. I didn't expect a workhorse, since I will only use the tablet to a limited extent. Woke up this morning, tried to turn it on and it just died and won't turn on or charge. I've read other reviewers talking about really bad service from Acer so I won't waste my time and take it as a lesson I learned to stay away from them in the future. As I mentioned in my original review, despite touchscreen sensitivity issues, the tablet was decent and should last much longer than six months with limited use. Based on that, I downgraded my rating from 4 to 2. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
