I would like to know how to attach them to a hairpin. I'm terrible at anything that requires knowledge of using a drill and a fairly intermediate knowledge of finding nails in walls. My walls are a mess now. I must have hit so much metal or concrete. Torn off nail heads, holes in the wall, plaster, pencil marks. But after about 3 days of struggling with the block on the wall alone, I finally put up a version in the wall. After all, cats LIVE on it. No matter how shaky some parts are. And shaky because I'm VERY unsure about a homemade installation AND/OR a manufacturer error that might prevent the pieces of wood from staying flush with the wall. However, cats still use it. Frequently.
