Clear Visor: Virtually invisible flexible plastic but not at all fragile. It measures 11 inches wide x 7.75 inches high horizontally and shorter vertically than some other models/brands, but depending on your needs, this might be preferable - the nice thing is that it doesn't hit your shoulder or collarbone. when you look down A big plus are the 10 clear pads that come with the headband, so you'll have plenty of spares for long. Headband: Incredibly light and comfortable (even when worn without foam padding). Very quick and easy to put on/off with the adjustable elastic strap on the back. The front of the belt holding the shield can be raised/lowered quickly and easily without the stationary belt slipping or moving. The hinges are strong and work like a ratchet with multiple breakpoints throughout the range of motion, keeping the protection where you want it. There are pins on either side of the stationary band that physically prevent the shield from rotating past the plane down.
