Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Android Experience with the Philips AS111/37 Fidelio Docking Speaker by Rachel Ellis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's not entirely clear why there are negative reviews here.

When I received the docking station I literally stuck it in the wall, installed the app and it synced. Did. I didn't even open the manual before it worked like any other bluetooth speaker. Most of the complaints I see are related to the DockStudio application. People have problems with alarm clocks and music. ok, then don't use the app. This device requires an app to sync your phone and dock, but nothing more. You can use your stock music app (Google Music, Spotify, etc.) and stock alert app on your phone. Since it's connected via Bluetooth, all you have to do is keep the DockStudio app running in the background and use other apps like you would for anything else. The sounds are quite loud and of decent quality. Please note that this is not a speaker system. This is not a home audio system. This is a docking station for an alarm clock. So you're getting good sound for your bedroom, but don't expect it to be like a BOSE portable speaker. I bought this device because my phone's speaker wasn't loud enough so I was sleeping on my phone's alarms. I got this, turned it up to max volume and it worked like a charm. The default Android alarm clock app worked like a charm. Also great is that the speaker on the phone played the alarm at the same time as the speaker in the dock, so it was even louder (a dream come true for those who will sleep during a nuclear war).

Pros

Cons
