I bought this tiara to replace my daughter's plastic tiara which I accidentally broke. It is very pretty and fits like a headband. She didn't like it as a child, but she got used to it. The little dangling jewel in the center wasn't attached when I got it so I don't know if it had to be taken off or if it fell off, but it was easy to put on. It can be an optional item. I think this tiara could be used for a special adult occasion like a wedding because it's of pretty decent quality and doesn't look tacky at all. The metal held up to my daughter's stretching and not a single gem fell out, which impresses me. It's definitely perfect for a game or a serious princess.
