Definitely not wide.
My son loves it. Since then he wears it almost every day. He finds them easy to put on, but they hold up well and don't slip off (i.e. they take a little more effort to take off without being too difficult). They are very high quality. We constantly get compliments on how cute they are.

- My son loves these shoes. You exist and are his favorite. Great support and look great with your school uniform

- This picture is dark brown, what arrived was light brown/camel/khaki.
