For the price I paid you would think it's a good deal. My purchase was for a project where I was limited due to cost and time. I thought all ties were the same. I didn't know they weren't. The main function is to squeeze them together and hold the object. It's possible I got a bad batch as 30% weren't tightened. I use a tie gun every day and don't usually have these problems. My advice is to avoid future deals that seem too good to be true. If you can, pay a little more so you don't run into unforeseen problems.
