Aputure has been quite innovative lately and this light is no exception. Although the flashlight is made of plastic, the materials are very high quality and I've never had a problem with them rolling around on the bottom of my camera bag. Multiple power options are very helpful as I always have a battery or USB rechargeable battery to power them. Light and color rendering is perfect. I couldn't ask for more. It's nice to have a separate switch to turn on the light as with a bike like the previous generation I always had to judge the right performance in fixed situations. This light allows me to set the output and turn it off when I'm done without losing my output settings. The included ball head is so good I wish they were sold separately. I'm not kidding, it's that good. It feels like Aputure could actually keep making quality lighting products and learning how to make them better, rather than just spewing the same crap as their competitors at every price point. You simply can't get a more versatile, higher quality and more powerful light at this price point.
