Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

Its pros: A very decent lamp. The light is very bright. The beam of light is narrow enough Standard batteries, which can also be charged directly in the lamp. Cons below: Plastic brackets for fastening diffusers - they are easy enough to break. There is no space for the battery in the case.

    For over $100, look elsewhere

This flashlight has no battery and the description doesn't specifically say so. You'll have to buy a separate battery system to use with it if you want portable power. You can connect it to your camera if it has a USB source. The case includes a cold shoe and a USB-A to USB-C cable. I'm incredibly disappointed that it's cheaply made, meaning it's lightweight and the fairly low light costs $100+ and doesn't come with a battery that you can charge from the device itself. You're better off with…

Small and agile! - Lighting & Studio

What an amazing little powerhouse! I'm in love with this light. So much so that I want 2-3 more. The value is excellent, the output is stable and the color accuracy is within limits. I found the light to be a bit colder at both ends of the range. With the panel set to 5600 I get 5800 on the X-Rite color chart - 3200 with a light output of 3500. The warmer the light the more magenta. It's fully repairable at 1/8 plus green, so I think it's acceptable. The battery life is impressive. A pair of…

Excellent build quality and performance in a versatile package.

Aputure has been quite innovative lately and this light is no exception. Although the flashlight is made of plastic, the materials are very high quality and I've never had a problem with them rolling around on the bottom of my camera bag. Multiple power options are very helpful as I always have a battery or USB rechargeable battery to power them. Light and color rendering is perfect. I couldn't ask for more. It's nice to have a separate switch to turn on the light as with a bike like the…

Amazing features and value! A+++ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've been looking for a decent video light for a long time, but somehow couldn't find "the one". That's right, I came across a video in which this lamp was presented to the public for the first time. I really liked its characteristics and decided to research deeper and was amazed by its capabilities. I pre-ordered this flashlight but received it after just a few days. Well, it's a very well made flashlight despite being made entirely of plastic (hence $98 not $298). Quality packaging, decent…

So far, so good. good for photography and photography

I have not used this LED light extensively so my rating is based on the short time I have used it since the day I received it. I bought it for food videos and photography that I sometimes take home. Nothing fantastic. It's not as bright as a real studio light, but bright enough for its size. I can only compare it to the Aputure AL-MX because it's the only light I have. Obviously it's brighter than MX in terms of distance, I mean when I compare MX and F7 at 50% power output I think MX is…

Great performance - solid construction - bright shade

Very solid little light, good value for money. The variable color temperature is great, especially since it can be adjusted up to 9500K, which is very blue and useful for accent lighting. In the warmer light range there is a very slight green tint, which is particularly noticeable around 3200k. This is by no means a deal breaker and the light still looks great. However, if you combine it with incandescent bulbs or practical lamps, you may notice a difference. The overall light output is really…

False advertising! Does NOT work with USB-C

This product seems to meet my needs perfectly, especially because it can be powered via USB-C. (I don't have Sony batteries.) So I bought two Aukey 18W USB-C power adapters as they are tiny but provide more than enough power for these lights. Along with the USB-C cable, they could fit right into the cases along with the backlight. However, I have found that the so-called USB-C cables that come with the device are NOT STANDARD. You MUST use the included cables. Other USB-C cables will not work…
