This flashlight has no battery and the description doesn't specifically say so. You'll have to buy a separate battery system to use with it if you want portable power. You can connect it to your camera if it has a USB source. The case includes a cold shoe and a USB-A to USB-C cable. I'm incredibly disappointed that it's cheaply made, meaning it's lightweight and the fairly low light costs $100+ and doesn't come with a battery that you can charge from the device itself. You're better off with just about any other device. I will try to return this product as it doesn't do what I need. And there are other options in this price range or below that have internal batteries. A few good things are that it comes with a case, a very heavy cold shoe (it outrageously weighs more than a light one!) and two very cheap "lens filters" made out of cheap thin plastic.
