I started sleeping on satin sheets at night because I don't like having my hair wrapped up all the time. Satin sheets are gentle on hair and don't dry it out as much as cotton sheets. Satin sheets also cause much less friction in the hair and prevent hair breakage. I have crossed out many satin bedding sets that claim to be satin but are usually not entirely satin.
