So my daughter has only worn them a couple of times because she uses them on the day she puts on her sweater uniform and uses different shoes for her other skirt/short uniform and the velcro is gone. They don't stick, so the little strip doesn't get stuck, and she's tripped and fallen twice already. She has used them maybe 4-5 times and they are useless. Don't waste money. Choose one without velcro. Have to spend twice as much to buy her something that doesn't actually have velcro.
