I bought these because I just can't use the obtrusive rubber earbuds that came with my new phone. They cause earwax problems after a while and make my ear problems worse. I liked them because they're shaped similar to the Apple pods I've used and they've always worked well for me. They're a bit bigger than Apple's but still fit my ears well. The sound quality is okay. There's some tinny, grating thing going on in the background, but I'm definitely a headphone snob, so maybe I'm just being picky. These things are LOUD. Probably 2-3 times the maximum volume of my Apple capsules, which makes them great for listening to audiobooks, as long as I keep my head at work I don't miss a word. What I've noticed from listening to music is that the vocals on them tend to be overshadowed a bit by the instrumentals, so I probably won't use them for music very often. Overall not bad for the price.
