UPDATE: I downgraded my rating to 1 star because KingSlim customer service doesn't listen to their customers. They offered to replace my device while I pay for shipping. I told them I wasn't interested in this product as it didn't work and they couldn't tell me its specs. They then said they would replace it for free. At that point, I stopped wasting my time with this piece of junk and asked them to stop contacting me about it. Spring. 6 months after my purchase and their support team continues to try to bribe my review by offering me gift cards and merchandise. I don't trust this company, want nothing to do with this company and want their customer service to stop harassing me as I have requested. I'm reducing my rating from 4 -> 1 due to the questionable behavior of their customer service department. After setting up and using my KingSlim DVR I was so impressed I went out and bought a second one for our other car. The dash cam works as described, easy to install, comes with long enough cables for the rear camera and a charging connector. This brings me to my only negative disclaimer. If you have a vehicle that does not disable the cigarette lighter sockets when the vehicle is off, this camera will drain the battery if it is not disabled when exiting the vehicle. I thought there was something wrong with my electrical system in my car, but they found that this device draws over 500mA for 30 minutes (typical draw should be less than 20mA). I'm not saying this is a bad thing, as a device is advertised to record car bumps when it's off, but you might just need to plan accordingly if you want to take full advantage of this device's capabilities. . For me the solution was simple. I've invested in a car battery protector so my car battery will now automatically shut off when it's almost low on charge to start. Overall I'm very impressed with this device, but I'd like to know a little about the draw question in advance so I can be better prepared.
