Fit for what you get and these are great river shoes for rock and pebble work if you're in natural water or on a raft or a raft swim kayak or something. Unfortunately the first time I took them on a float they rubbed my toe as you can see in the picture. So if you're doing something moderately intense, be aware that this can and will happen at thin tissue thicknesses! The rubber on the bottom is good and offers much better traction in unreliable conditions. Also, after a long day in the water, a thin layer on the top of the removable insole came off. To be honest, I probably smacked them too hard for a pair of $12 water boots, but that's my review.
