This item looked fantastic on Revain.com. However, this is clearly a cheap product of our production, made somewhere in China. The hinge for opening and closing the magnifier appears to be held in place by a screw. Which after only a few weeks of use has already loosened up and it seems that the threads are already being exposed. The magnifying glass itself is very small. Definitely recommend avoiding this product. Please look for a good quality magnifying glass in a jewelry store or photo shop. Yes, it will cost more money. However, if you consider that you will need to buy five or ten of these loupes over the course of several years, then buying a quality loupe between $50 and $100 is a solid investment.
