They are very short - more like a capri length which stinks because my daughter is for her age. They also run small at the waist. The material is quite thin. If you order dark blue, it's really quite dark. It is difficult to distinguish them from black ones. The material is soft. I bought these because I have bought countless french toast uniforms for my daughter and they were all great quality and coordinated so I could rest assured that they were consistent when I ordered them at different times. Leggings, but maybe not so much.
