This is a great shoe organizer bench that the whole family can use. When we were looking for and bought a shoe bench, this bench definitely caught our attention due to the material used and the weight rating of the bench. Some of the other types of shoe benches that have been considered are fully enclosed and require a lot more effort to access the shoes. Our little one was beyond thrilled when she arrived and was very helpful with the building process. If I remember correctly he screwed in half of the screws while I did the other half and I just had to tighten them all. Basically, a toddler could help assemble it, so you should be able to, too. We've used ours to store a few different types of shoes and the only thing that can't be stored in it is ankle boots. Putting your shoes on and off when using this bench is easy. A shoe organizer helps keep most of our shoes off the carpet when we are at home. It can support the weight of an adult and a toddler at the same time, making it much easier to put shoes on a toddler. It's also a great parking lot or race track for small cars. The bench has also been moved to our kitchen next to the counter so our little one can help with homemade pizza, cookies, washing dishes and other kitchen chores. The bench is deep and wide enough so you don't have to worry as much about your child moving to reach something as if they were standing on a regular step stool.
