It's nicer than I expected, actually. Took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble (all by myself, without a man's help). The instructions are as clear as it gets. There wasn't a single point where I would be confused as to what part or hardware goes where. All the parts are clearly marked with numbers and all the hardware is of great quality! My husband uses this bench daily to take his knee braces on and off. He is about 220 lbs and the bench is sturdy and at a comfortable height. We plan to reupholster the cushion so it's thicker, but the cushion it came with is quite workable. The shoe storage space works well for guy's shoes.

I just didn’t like that some of the parts wasn’t label. For me it took about 1hr to assemble. It take two pole to assemble Thanks for attention!

As far as Chinese anything goes, this piece of furniture was one of the worst experiences I’ve had when it comes to assembly. Pilot holes for screws were either missing, misaligned or much too shallow. The grooves to fit the back piece in were misaligned as well so I had to sand it down for it to fit. The seat that it comes with is laughably cheap as well, which isn’t a valid complaint because of how low the price is. It is held on via the use of double sided tape, not even the good kind.

This is some very cheap wood screws don’t fit hard to put together just a hot mess. Pictures tell lies and this is clearly a lie. Brought this use in my hall for shoes when people cane over. Look like something for kids room. Don’t Waste Your Money PLEASE!

Got these benches for our entry foyer space based on reviews that it was sturdy compared to others and it definitely holds true. Feels nice and sturdy when sitting on it to put shoes on. The storage is a great bonus too! My husband mentioned the assembly was a bit difficult, otherwise very happy with this purchase!

Would love to give a proper review but I opened the box and took out all parts and hardware but no assembly instructions. Am I supposed to know or guess how to assemble this?

This is a very beautiful shoe storage bench, very convenient to organize shoes and storage some other items, seating very comfortable when putting shoes on and off.the assembled was challenging for me but vendor refunded half price for the inconvenient.

The wooden pegs break easy and do not hold your 2 pieces together well. The Allen wrench is very hard on the hand when putting screws in. It’s needs to be longer and better grip. Putting hinges on, the pre drilled holes were not deep to even start to screw into. Every screw for the hinge went in crooked.

It was really easy to assemble on your own or with help. Great for holding your shoes and anything else you might need to store.

This is one of my best buys on Ebay. It looks great, is very sturdy, and a breeze to assemble. We put this in our garage so that we can sit and change shoes before coming into the house. There is room both on and under the shelf for shoes. Amazing quality for less than $30.

My reasoning for giving this item 4 stars is the assembly process. It took me several.hours to complete due to pieces being broken. I had to improvise. There should be extra pieces incase something like this happens in the future.

Love it. Very nice. Comes with everything you need to put together. Uses an allen wrench to put together. The bench's support pieces can be easily stripped or removed.

The wood is cheap. The holes were not properly drilled. The wood cracks and breaks when you screw together. Made it completely fall apart. Do not buy. Not worth the cost.

I almost didn't buy this shoe bench because of all the reviews about the holes not lining up and screws breaking through. However, the holes lined up exactly as they should. If you are "lazy" and think the holes will line up while lying on the ground, you're mistaken. Easy to put together and was exactly what I needed for my entry space. The stickers to keep the seat cushion in place were missing so I contacted customer service and was helped with expediency. Bench is sturdy and would buy from this company again.
