Review on 🌞 Lixada Single Person Sun Shade Canopy for Kayak, Boat, and Canoe by Erick Bowers

I made a few purchases before making this purchase. Other brands have been prohibitively expensive in my opinion given the functionality of this product. It's nice to be in the sun all day in a kayak, but many people make do with a hat and sunscreen, so it's less of a necessity than a luxury. However, I like it very much. Taking it apart and putting it back in the included pouch is a little tricky, as some of the wands are slightly curved at the ends and the elastic tends to pull the pieces together while you're working on a different area. I wouldn't take it apart on the water, although you probably wouldn't be tempted to do so unless you're caught in a strong headwind, in which case the screen creates drag and forces you to work harder. Boats with rod holders behind the seating area, as this is where the ends of the rods fit. Otherwise I would suggest that some modifications would be required either to the product or to the boat itself. All in all I paddled in the sun all day and didn't hit the ground. When the wind picked up, I took it off. I think I'd appreciate having it as part of my kayaking gear for bright, sunny days on calm waters.
