I'm currently using it on a Samsung 870 EVO Plus NVMe m2.2 2280 1TB drive. This SSD runs HOT, especially on the case/computer I installed it on. It's a 100% passively cooled NUC-like device, with the entire body acting as a heatsink. Without the heatsink, the SSD reported temperatures ranging from 70°C idle to 74°C active at the maximum ambient temperature for the box. With the heatsink installed I'm now seeing around 67C idle and 72C active. So it helps a little. I think it would help a lot more if there was some sort of passive cooling nearby to move some of the hot air around. The radiator feels HOT. I hope these silicone bands will withstand the heat and not deteriorate.
