Sheets generally of the "You get what you pay for” type. I tend to look for the best quality at a decent price as I have a large double bed. I stay away from super cheap sheets because they never seem to work. Likewise, my partner gets very hot when he sleeps, so I don't want to spend a fortune on sheets just for him to wake up wet. I used to have a set of bamboo sheets and they've worn completely over the years - the softest and so cooling. After doing a lot of browsing and reading reviews, I came across these - not too expensive, but not cheap either, that claimed to be 100% bamboo. There was also a discount code so I used it. When they arrived and I first opened the box and felt them, I was skeptical; they seemed very tight and shiny and looked more like polyester viscose. However, the label says "bamboo viscose" so I decided to wash it. I washed them according to the instructions and they came out of the washing machine strange, tough and almost like a canvas; good sign (as it should be). I dried them on low heat and when I took them out they had the super soft bamboo feel I was expecting. If you are one of those people obsessed with crumpled sheets, you can get rid of them immediately. I'm not one of those people, so mine sat ready and crumpled for a while, but mostly along the finished edges (the top of the top sheet and the opening of the pillowcases). But then again, I don't care about wrinkles. I have a thick memory foam mattress with a quilted cover and the sheets were deep enough. The bottom sheet has elastic all the way around which is great. They fit well. The big test was passed when my partner told me this morning that he slept great and wasn't hot. That's the whole reason why bamboo is just right for me. I will update this review if anything happens that causes me to deduct the stars (e.g. falling apart after a few washes etc.). TLDR are decent quality sheets at a decent price, they are exactly what they say and definitely kept a hot sleeper a lot cooler (as real bamboo should).
