First of all, in my opinion, a nice box with a good design. It folds easily and can be compact, ideal for storage/travel. He uses two pillows. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to set it up, but I had to do some thinking myself as there were no instructions. Between the two cushions, one is rigid and the other is foldable/flexible. Foldable/flexible is on the inside (since you can fold it to fit through the opening) and is rigid on the top. The large size is big and durable, but it has a terrible smell. The product smells strange, similar to bad chemical cleaning products or processed foods. I let it air out for almost a week and it hasn't improved much. I'm tempted to try some kind of deep cleansing. The outer fabric and material used have a subtle texture, softer than rough, and good color. I would be happy with everything if only the smell could be corrected. I think that is also the main reason why my cat is not using the box now. When I took her there, she stayed on it for a while, but I didn't see her really approach him or rest on him alone. If you can figure out how to clean/refresh/get rid of that smell I'd recommend it, but it's pointless if not used. Otherwise the box it came in is a great support.
