My dogs have been eating human food for years. We've had raw, we've cooked, we've switched between the two - we've used JFFD, Darwin's, Home Cooked by Me, Honest Kitchen, etc - interchangeably without a hitch. We have a kennel with 28 dogs with special needs - autoimmune diseases, cancer etc so we never use commercial pet food and use a ketogenic diet for them. This thing ripped my dog's stomach open! And we've been trying for about a month or more. There's a reason you add slippery elm to this mix - because broccoli stalks are known to cause gastrointestinal problems in dogs - let me tell you - it is! Not one dog but SEVERAL after many doses of metronidazole, albon and tylosin and five different analyzes of saliva samples to find out why we continued to have bloody stools, we changed the food. and phew! Everyone was fine again. Broccoli is a source of nutrients, but the stalks are tough on dogs - find something else! I consume over 200 pounds of groceries a month and unfortunately you lost us as customers because we had to spend as much on diagnostics and medication for these groceries as we did on the food itself.
