This is the CRAZY and most durable hand shower holder I've found - and really been looking for. Although I also ordered two hand showers, both with a solid metal bracket, neither one compared. Now I order one for each bathroom as flimsy plastic mounts are short lived and even metal mounts feel sparse. This holder is thicker than any other holder on the market and really strong. Even if a strong body throws a handheld with eyes full of soap so that the target moves a little, it will grab it. Note that this mount doesn't have a ball joint and therefore doesn't rotate, but for me that meant one fewer moving part than necessary. It lasts YEARS longer than any hand shower. Wahoo!
