"Slow learners "? - Anti-theft

I followed the instructions to program the key fobs for my 2004 Honda Pilot but they only blocked the doors. I read the instructions, tried again, the result is the same. FCC Identification Number. on the back was different from No. on the original (bad) key fobs. I contacted the seller who replied (immediately) that all aftermarket key fobs have different IDs. I looked at the programming guide, which was the same as the car repair guide. I made a list of simple labeled actions so I wouldn't make a mistake trying again. I couldn't get to it for days, but when I did, I "checked" the key fobs before reprogramming and guess what. They worked fine! Heck, they must be "slow learners"!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some shortcomings
