update: you lick! remove stars. If they tip over, some of them will leak. Original: Some of them emit a fine mist, others emit a powerful jet at a distance of about 8 feet. However, this set of 16 was cheaper than buying just 2, which was all I needed. I gave it to a neighbor who was delighted. Some are thicker/heavier than others but they all seem good.
