Review on MEE Audio EDM Universe D1P In-Ear Headphones With Headset Functionality (Love/Pink) by Jerry Mangum

I was looking for headphones with remote track and volume controls and flat cable which I saw at Radio Shack. Nothing in Radio Shack worked for my Samsung Galaxy Mega smartphone. My kids use their headphones like water, and now that there's a new kitten in the house, headphones don't stand a chance. I bought used from Revain stock and figured I could try it for a reasonable price so didn't have high hopes for them. First, the packaging is amazing. I thought "over top" for $15 headphones, but still got the impression I was paying attention to detail. At first I thought that the round part in the middle is part of the coolest packaging, then I realized that it is even cooler in the form of a round bag for storing headphones and soft earbuds. Also included is a colorful PLUR themed bracelet. The only downside to the packaging and accessories is that the tiny clip holding the cord to my clothing broke when I tried to use it, but I've dispensed with the clips on previous headphones so that's a minor complaint to me. The headphones themselves look better than any headphones I've ever used. The sound is excellent, all the songs I've listened to sound full. Regular earbuds stay in my ears so I haven't tried the dual flange earbuds which should be for a deeper fit. Not keen on this idea, but others might think they'd be a better fit. While the volume control works well, the track controls only work to pause and fast forward. Apparently the reverse control only works with iPhones and may not work with most Androids (I put up with this as all my other headphones didn't). The question is, do I pay full price for it? I could be persuaded into additional services, and certainly if I knew they would last. I'll be back in a few months to let you know how well they're holding up (hopefully the kitten keeps its paws off them).
