They were easy enough to install and once installed and assembled they feel pretty solid. It consists of 3 parts (without fittings) - a base with 3 screw holes, a base cover and a pin that screws onto the thread attached to the base. There were no instructions in the box mine came in. I want to use a 3/16" drill bit to drill 3 pilot holes for the included drywall anchors. Start by getting new drywall anchors. The included anchors are very flimsy and cheap. The screws provided were fine, but if you're using larger wall plugs you'll need to make sure they'll work with them. The screws provided aren't long enough to get to the studs in your walls if you happen to have studs in the correct installation area In this case you need longer screws. The finish was good on the outside showing parts. I noticed small discolored spots on the pins at the base, forcing me to do enough twists to hide them from view. Fingers crossed this happened during cutting, no evidence of a joint that could cause corrosion. The 3" was just the right size to hang my baseball caps with some headroom if you're looking for a frame size link. I used one to hang an empty backpack and it was the right size for it. Although the construction is solid , I don't know if I would use them to hang anything heavier than a few pounds from them unless you drilled into the bolt.
