I was looking for hooks like this for our closet to hang up long clothes. They were very easy to install. I screwed the plates to the studs instead of using anchors. Anchors never seem to work well for me. Anyway, it only took four of them about 15 minutes to screw in and assemble, including the time it took to find the lugs with the lug finder. Each hangs about 5 dresses.

At this price you would expect them to be less than perfect. The inside edges of the caps on the pins are pretty sharp, so I had to file each one down. These are cute caps and stainless steel posts, but they look nice once installed. One of the covers was bent which was corrected by hammering it in to fit properly with sent rubber. When you get there, you might have to do a little work while installing them.

These posts/hooks look nice but the photos don't show that the end cap actually looks like a button cap - it is not a solid post. It wouldn't be too much of a deal, but I bought them to install in a tiled shower for detergent and brushes. The edges of the cap are VERY sharp and may cause injury if reused. So this is one of the things to consider when evaluating quality. These hooks are lightweight when hand held. They're not solid stainless steel, but the price reflects that. I've used them for towel hooks and my kid's backpack hooks. I love her! I've used drywall anchors and these baddies hold very heavy backpacks with no problem. Clean, modern, sleek look. Some of the edges aren't perfect, but think again about the price. Definitely recommend. They look expensive and work well.

I bought the 3" size to fit on the side skirts and under the overhanging desk for radio hobby.
