Side not as strong as I hoped

This is a nice lounger but the sides are softer/softer than I was hoping for. Not sure if this is a co-sleep device as advertised. Rather, "the parents are up, watching a movie, and the kid is relaxing on the bed in the sun lounger." Kind of a thing.
