🎓 Mehron Makeup Mini-Pro Student Kit (Fair/Olive) for Makeup Education Review

I am of Mediterranean origin and the colors in the set match my natural tones. As a result, I bought a Mehron pencil, which is a shade darker than the foundation that came in the kit. I still used contour, cheeks and lips so all is good. The quality of the makeup is very good, not heavy or greasy. Good foundation with full coverage for everyday use.

Lots of cosmetics from grade 8 onwards. Good tools, although I also recommend buying a short wedge brush. There are different colors in the pack with good size pots. Perfect. I have previously used the Ben Nye kit. There are more tones and more makeup. Highly recommended.

I recommended this to my cast of 26 for a community theater production of Sweeney Todd. Much better than regular makeup. There's no sweating through this material and makeup through hot stage lights. The kit lasts about 18-20 uses before you need to buy more skin tones. Setting powder, pencil liner and other included tones (brown, white, blush, red) last longer. Great $15 investment to look great on stage.

Our 9 year old daughter was at a play that was scheduled to last 2 nights. This kit was perfect, it had everything she needed and it didn't cost a ridiculous amount of money. They did their own makeup and she said it was fun + very easy. The only thing we additionally needed was a plain black mascara. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Kit arrived quickly (thankfully I had to rush to teach). I used this to teach a basic makeup effects class. I like the red color in this palette more than in the midtone palette. I used red on the bald head for the first layer of skin (blood vessels). I lowered it under the bald head to hide the seam. Then I added a color that matched the model's skin tone. I purchased the Mehron Mini-Pro Theater Makeup Set for use during our community theater production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. This is a very good stage makeup kit that worked effectively throughout the show. It includes a good selection of basic colors. The base was easy to apply and held up well in hot stage lights without cracking, melting or running. I've been doing theater for three years now and I've also tried other well-known brands of stage make-up. But this set was great! It matched my skin tone and had different shades of foundation which allowed me to really bring out the shadows for my makeup! 10/10 recommend! The only problem is the sponge.

Exactly as advertised. Arrived early. The right color for me and a better price than Ben Nye student kits. Student kits are great for travel or when you're unsure of the colors you want and just want to try it out. I would buy again and definitely recommend.
