Very happy with this little power amp. I have a digital recording system and some good monitor speakers. This amp is very small, but has more than enough pure full-range power to drive them. I like that you can bypass the tone controls for a "flat" sound output, or turn on the bass and treble controls whenever you want. It's also good that you get both a 110 acre outlet and a 12 volt car cord for use at home OR in your car stereo. Very good offer at a low price.

I use it to power my *large* Sony SSB3000 bookshelf speakers. I was a bit nervous as I'm still unsure if these speakers will clip this tiny amp (these speakers require 120 watts) so I always keep the volume and bass low. So far, after over a year of this setup, I haven't had any problems and the amp hasn't gotten hot. The bass and treble controls are a big bonus and change the type of sound you're after. I used this unit to power some speakers that I connected to an Echo Dot in my garage. 3.5mm plugs and red/white AUX cables in this device. There is feedback through the speakers when Alexa is off - see video. This feedback persists even if I change the cable or connect the device to a phone instead of a Dot. The amp makes excessive noise when connected to my mixer when powered by an AC/DC adapter. Connecting to a 12 volt battery reduces the noise somewhat, but that's still unacceptable - most likely because the battery is external rather than built into the metal case to provide some protection. Conclusion: The AC/DC power supply has poor galvanic isolation.
