Very basic cape pattern

I'm a cosplayer who doesn't usually use patterns because to be honest they always seemed confusing to me. However, I'm making a Lady of Death cape that cost over $200 in fabric, so it was important not to ruin it. I bought this model because it looked pretty simple. IT WAS! I've only made the main cape so far and it's unlined, but it was incredibly easy to make and looks very beautiful and luxurious. It was very easy to understand and use, definitely recommend!

Great for Beginners, Great for Ravens

I love this pattern! This was my first sewing experience in over six years (I'd only sewed a few pieces before). I modified the pattern a bit by removing the lining so my cape is more economical and I have NO PROBLEM knitting this pattern. In fact, it was the first time I ever used a template. There were a few confusing things that I didn't understand due to my lack of experience, but if you take the time to read the instructions and look at the pictures you should be able to figure it out. Recommended with reservation

If you are a good seamstress this pattern should be easy enough to fit the person you need. If you are new to sewing I warn you that the pattern is not perfect. I had to make a number of changes to make this template work. Also, the pattern instructions don't tell you how to pad a cloak with a satin lining (as shown in the models on the cover). When I was a young woman I worked for a tailor, so I adapted my knowledge of window dressing to the lining of raincoats. I wrote it down so if you want…
