In my opinion, not intended for long-term use.
The magnet has become detached from one of the two halves of the item. I tried to stick it back on, but it quickly peeled back the same day. I have a plastic one. Perhaps a metal magnetic connector will hold in place better, but do yourself a favor and avoid the plastic connectors at all costs.
