I bought a tube and I really liked this mascara. The second hose sucked. The two problems are that when you pull the brush through the ring, it doesn't pull firmly and leaves mascara in clumps. You have to put the ring back, which is then on your fingers. The second problem is that the brush is too long. You can't put your hand on your cheek because the hand is very long. For me, these two issues are a deal breaker. The first tube had a shorter brush that made for great application and a tight ring that pulled off the excess. This makes the application sloppy and messy. Back to the original.
