I've had the watch for 4 days now. Setup was fine, just don't touch the screen or try to do anything with it while it's running. This is a large watch so be careful if you have a thin wrist. With only SMS notifications and either a regular face or a face with steps and audio frequency, I get about two and a half days on a single charge. I don't use apps. I also very rarely use it to answer messages or make calls. I usually just slide down to read notifications and use my phone. Battery life can be an issue if you are a heavy user. I took the white one as it was the cheapest. It's cheaper to buy just one strip than paying an extra $60 for a black one. This bad boy's vibration is serious; loud and strong. I didn't like this feature.
