Very nice and high quality metal fittings. I don't expect much durability when it comes to cute products for small dogs but I got these in a size XS for our 8 week old Golden Retriever and was pleasantly surprised. She is now 3 months old and started leash training in the yard a few weeks ago - the collar continues to hold up well even as she pulls a puppy on the other end. She didn't slip out and it adjusts very easily as she grows. It fit her well at 12lbs, then 14lbs, then 16lbs (with line tension) and now 18lbs! I suppose I'll have to get myself a harness when it's finally time to actually walk in it on the sidewalk or in the park, but so far it's both adorable and functional. If I had one complaint, the metal loop is quite small, which takes a long time to attach the leash (depending on the leash). I'm also wondering if it's washable as I have a pumpkin/autumn pattern that will turn tan/brownish when it gets dirty.
