I don't see any real use for it. The best I can say about it is the display. It looks like a low resolution pixelated screen. I have a soft spot for white on black LED displays. The bracelet is like a case and needs to be removed to charge. It is in no way waterproof. He records and plays. My child is happy about it. I've included some random radio communications in it. That's about the usage level I can get from it. He does what he says, he's just really not very good at it.
