    Works perfectly for what it is made for.

    This case is perfect for storing my voice recorder. It's not too bulky and the bag has extra pockets for cables and other things I might need.

    Better than expected.

    Comfortable to hold. Fits easily with Tascam, spare batteries and cables. It also doesn't feel like it adds volume. I've dropped it so many times it just wipes off. No problem. Great companion for Tascam.

    Perfect for use

    This hard case is perfect for my audio recorder. A convenient inner pocket holds a business card for identifying the device and a few extra bits and swamps, a memory card, a connection cable. Recommended for your long narrow items you want to protect.

    It goes well with the DR-05

    This is a good, well made product. The DR-05 fits snugly with enough room for headphones, cables and extra batteries. My only concern is the lack of padding. You can't protect an item well without the right cushioning material, which is why I gave it 3 stars.

    The top-down design accommodates essential accessories.

    Perfect for my Tascam DR-05, plus USB cable, two spare batteries and headphones. Seems sturdy enough to protect my investment but the zippers dangle around the corners. For this reason I am giving one star. Overall I would recommend.

    Decent housing for Tascam DR-05

    DR-05 is the perfect fit in length and width. However, the height is too high, causing the device to bounce inward during transport. The inner material is soft and I'm not overly concerned, but in my opinion it's a design flaw. Should be tight when closed. No bag required. Considering there aren't many cases specifically designed for the rather fragile DR-05, this is better than nothing. Seems solid for the price.

    Great quality at a modest price

    This recorder was recommended by a fellow audio engineer and musician and he was right - for the money this humble voice recorder records music and speech with amazing quality. It's not perfect, but to play a song or melody to improve the arrangement or balance the sound, it's more than enough. was printed very small and also lacked some ink making it almost impossible to read. I had a hard time managing the initial settings and figuring out what they meant, and ended up doing it in parallel…

    Really nice little case

    The case is as advertised, the Tascam DR-05x fits perfectly and the size of the case is just right for the small tripod I bought to use with the unit. Can't comment on the durability as I just received the case but it looks like it will hold up well. I keep this case in a large bag that I carry the voice recorder in so it's well protected. Good value for money.
