I rarely write reviews, especially negative ones, but please read them before you buy this bed frame - it will save you time, money and hassle! PROBLEM #1: Scratches on the bed frame due to shipping. The box arrived damaged so part of the bed frame was scratched and dusty (it's a white metal frame after all). No big deal, I tried cleaning it and I had the scratched side of the bed frame facing the wall. PROBLEM #2: Difficulty assembling. At first I had a very difficult time putting it together with the mini key they provided me with. It was difficult to tighten the nuts and bolts as the nuts would get stuck on the bolts once they went in. I managed to tighten the nuts and bolts with the help of my partner, but it wasn't the "easy" and "nice" build I was hoping for. Trust me, I bought this exact bed frame from Walmart in 2017 and I DO NOT remember how hard it was to tighten the nuts and bolts MYSELF - something must be wrong with that shipment. PROBLEM #3: Broken H4 element When I attached the bolts and nuts to the H4 element, I could NOT insert the bolts into the bottom holes of the H4 - the bottom holes were too small! VECELO didn't check if each part was satisfactory and not is broken? I recently moved into a new apartment and needed to get my bed ready asap. Guess what hasn't happened yet and here's why: 1) FUN Help Desk DOES NOT answer the support phone #ever and they intentionally put me straight to voicemail multiple times! 2) The email replies from VECELO support are delayed! They didn't respond to my emails in a timely manner - I haven't heard from them for 2-4+ days at various times. 3) When I told them about the defective H4 part, they offered to send me another part. The shipment was delayed due to a lack of staff in the warehouse. Even then, they decided not to rush the delivery. After a long wait for the piece they sent me the WRONG COLOR (black instead of white for my white metal bed frame). You have yet to initiate me and provide me a new exact H4 part. 4) So far I have requested a refund TWICE and they have ignored my requests. So here it is. I would NOT recommend purchasing this bed frame and would love to hear other reviews that had similar issues. You don't want to deal with VECELO's terrible customer service and I hope AMAZON can address this issue so other customers don't experience these issues.
