Review on ๐Ÿงฆ JOBST Athletic Knee High Compression Socks, White, Large - Graduated Support for Active Legs by Philip Brianne

Comparison with SensiFoot Diabetic Socks

I wear both Jobst Athletic Knee High and Jobst SensiFoot Jobst Diabetic Compression Socks 110833 SensiFoot 8-15mmHg. Art. Knee-length unisex socks with high diabetic soft support - size and color - white, large. I would like to point out the difference between these two excellent socks. Athletic socks have a closer fit and offer a higher compression ratio. Both are rated 8-15mm but I rate this sock higher than the Sensifoot sock. Because of this, Athletic socks require more force to put on. I find it needs some stretching and some tweaking here and there to make it smooth. The Sensifoot sock can be put on like a normal sock with one movement. Both socks offer comfortable foot compression for all-day use with no issues (for me), but if I do a lot of physical work or go to the gym, I prefer the Athletic version. For everyday wear, I like SensiFoot socks because they are much easier to put on and are about an inch longer, fully reaching the knee. On the other hand, the SensiFoot insole is thicker and therefore slightly warmer to wear. I don't see this as a real problem where I live, but it's worth considering as I also wear thin regular socks over compression stockings to reduce heel wear. I highly recommend both socks.

Pros
  • Slim toe and reciprocating heel for extra comfort and a perfect fit
Cons
  • Some minor things
