To be honest I accidentally bought these thinking they were store bought 'paper towels'. Extra rags never hurt, but I don't really like them. They smell but they need to be washed first so that helped. The material is very rough and will flake off, especially if something is sticky or stuck to other rough surfaces. Good for cleaning dirty work. things, but they have poor absorbency when wiping up liquids. They look like they will last a long time but they are not very useful as they are not good for mopping up spills and drying out easily, nor are they great for polishing or wiping down wood or a car because they are so rough. An old t-shirt or towel rags work best. I don't know what to do with so many. Not worth it and won't buy again.
