The clip is very secure, I have really trouble pulling out my phone. I also got used to the previous design where there is a place behind where to hang the USB cable. And since I'm a courier, my phone has to be turned off every time I go to pick up a delivery. The only downside to the previous design was that the inner skeleton of the claws was too short. When the rubber finally broke, the phone popped out from time to time. If you could make that inner hard plastic longer or just rubber coated metal it would be much stronger and have more freedom of movement. It gets one star because it's harder to use than the previous design and there's no cable holder.
