Over the years I've used a different type of case that wasn't there when I upgraded my iPad. Thing is, I prefer my other brand. The features I miss the most is the ability to hold in my left hand in portrait mode (home button down). With this product, the Apple Pencil holder makes it difficult to hold. I also prefer the pen holder to the right of the screen. Another issue is that the case doesn't easily cradle and support the iPad in all positions (at the steepest angle the iPad falls). The case feels solid and offers good protection. It just doesn't work for me on the iPad
