Review on πŸš’ Kidkraft Fire Truck Toddler Beds: Red, 59.2 x 28.8 x 21 - Ultimate Bed for Brave Little Firefighters by Kim Scott

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Great design, good value, disgusting smell

Pros:1. The price is very cheap, especially considering that comparable beds are 3-4 times more expensive2. design, our little one loved it when he saw his little fire engine3. Easy to assemble, instructions were detailed and all parts were labeled for easy identification. All devices were also marked. Cons: 1. The chemical smell from this bed is VERY strong and nauseating. It's been 3 days since we assembled it and the color is so deafening as is the fumes that we won't let our son sleep in the bed. We actually bought 2 boxes of baking soda and brought 2 air purifiers to get rid of the smell. It's not very comfortable or convenient to keep the windows wide open in 40 degree weather. I really hope the smell will go away after tomorrow.2. Frame materials are of poor quality, very weak. The bottom slates are wood, the frame looks like a poor quality incomplete board that was so flimsy that 2 pieces splintered when I put the screws in. and strong low to the ground. It can't be that the materials are strong but rather very fragile. We really want this bed to be great, we'll wait a few more days to see if the smell goes away or we'll have to return it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I hate it
