Very cheap and bad quality. The bed had scratches and dents. At least eight parts were damaged. Some of the pre-drilled sections were not well done. To be honest the bed looked used. We are currently in a dilemma as we have our house ready for sale in less than a week. This bed was purchased for my son's new fire engine room which we were trying to put together before we put the house up for sale and before the showings were scheduled.

Pros
  • Quick change

My son loves it but the quality isn't the best

My son loves his fire engine bed! He is 2 years old and we put him to bed 3 nights ago. We had no problem moving from his crib at all. He looks forward to sleeping in it. Let's hope this stays that way when the novelty wears off! Cons: The real bed is not the best quality, more fragile than we expected. When screwing into one piece, the wood split because it was too thin for the screw to penetrate properly. So we don't expect it to last long, especially as my son loves to hop on his bed. But…

Great fire bed!

My son, who has just turned 4 years old, didn't really want to part with his little bed. We let him choose a cot to ease the transition and he settled on this one. My husband put it together in about 1.5 hours and we didn't miss a thing (like some of the other reviews). There were no damaged or broken parts. He's been sleeping in it for a month now and he loves it. He jumped on it a bit but we're trying to prevent that as I'm sure it's going to break. It's sturdy and feels well made, but it…

Chic design and color. Good internal memory.

That was a worthwhile purchase and a nice opportunity to introduce our son to his "big" bed. It was a wonderful Christmas present. Even if it was a bit fiddly to assemble. My husband built it the night before and it was a bit frustrating. For that I gave 4 stars. My other minus is that these beds, like all others, easily outgrow. However, the reasonable price seems worth it considering the number of uses it will see. Hopefully my youngest will benefit from this bed when the time comes. The…

Cute cot - not of the highest quality

We needed a temporary cot for a baby and we weren't looking for anything incredibly expensive. Finding a bed at this price is great but don't expect high quality. One of the panels was damaged (actually the exterior paint was scratched on one of the fire truck's windows). Also, the dowels fit very poorly, which probably explains a lot of the other reviewers' comments about the precarious and unstable bed. Some dowels are difficult to install due to too much dried paint in their holes, or are…

Great design, good value, disgusting smell

Pros:1. The price is very cheap, especially considering that comparable beds are 3-4 times more expensive2. design, our little one loved it when he saw his little fire engine3. Easy to assemble, instructions were detailed and all parts were labeled for easy identification. All devices were also marked. Cons: 1. The chemical smell from this bed is VERY strong and nauseating. It's been 3 days since we assembled it and the color is so deafening as is the fumes that we won't let our son sleep in…
