Review on WEEDO X40 Auto-Leveling Mainboard: Enhanced Precision for 300x300x400mm Prints by Robby Fingaw

Don't buy this thing, it was good to begin with but made too cheaply

The print quality is actually great and aligning the two heads is quite easy, down to the tiny screws in the notches that are used to adjust the height of the nozzles. You must replace them immediately with the screws provided in the picture before removing them, and use a better hex key instead of the tool provided, because the key provided will break. I had a clogged nozzle and when I unscrewed and re-tightened the thread for the extruder side tube it popped and I spoke to support, they seemed pretty nice, sent a replacement and communicated pretty well about the issues. I soldered the circuit board to connect the heating element and temperature sensor while moving the nozzle with the jog function. Also, the temperature sensor wire was disconnected from its connector in the shrink wrap so it couldn't read temperature, so it had to be repaired. I have no doubt that this thing can work with flexible materials, I haven't tried it yet, but it has a very good feeding system, although a heavy load seems great for printing with flexible filaments. I would say it's a 5 if it weren't so fragile and a lot more reliable. So far it can print 95 Shore A flexible TPU and it's quite good, but you need to pre-feed some filament so it doesn't get pulled through the inlet to the extruder, as that creates a hole in the motor and doesn't get in. a good grip. It is also necessary to increase the heat slightly higher than the filament demands. I will give 85 Shore a try whenever I need it for a project and update. Edit: Do a long press and it works great. Pressure or big pressures this one could make a big frog tool and now this project has moved it from 3 to 4 but that fragility and the piston screws to adjust the height of the nozzle can't make that 5 start jump. about a month and this fragile part is creeping up again, they gave me a replacement for this nozzle, there are no more problems with it, but the proximity sensor no longer registers metal. The sensor light is on, but it doesn't detect metal on the diagnostic screen, so it doesn't allow bed leveling, otherwise it will dig into the bed with its nose. So I take that 4th star and contact them about the issue, see if they reply or if they just reply with new buyers and then leave after the return time is up. Edit: It no longer prints well. I put it on hold because classes have started again and this thing just isn't working the way it should and things keep getting messed up with this thing. I've spent a lot of money on this, don't know how to get this thing to print well, I'll contact Weedo and see what can be done. This thing has random problems all the time.
