I mainly play shooters so I was looking for a replacement controller for my Scuf Impact and came across the Hori FPS Plus. Now I have all the Xbox consoles so I'm very familiar with the stick layout, but I have no problem with the Dualshock 4 layout. When I opened Hori I wasn't very impressed. Yes, I knew it would be light due to the lack of vibration motors, but it just felt cheap and plasticky. It's similar in design to the 360 controller and doesn't feel too bad in my hands. Uploaded Fortnite and all negative feelings from the controller immediately disappeared. The triggers work great despite what they look like in the pictures. I can switch weapons much faster with L1 and R1, it's not funny. Also, the L2 and R2 have a shorter range than the Dualshock 4 or my Scuf, making it a lot easier to win shootouts. My accuracy also seems to be much better. My kills per match have slightly doubled. Also note that there is no headphone jack, but I'm using a wireless controller, so I don't need one. And the instructions are in Japanese, so you'll need to translate them to find out the special buttons. I don't use them and didn't intend to, so I didn't use the turbo feature. Still a great controller for the price. TO EDIT. I forgot to mention that the cable is about 9 feet long, which is way too long for my desktop setup. I tied it up so I wouldn't trip over it. Also, it's a cheap rubber that tangles easily. This was braided and detachable like that of the Nacon Revolution Version 2. So it could be replaced if damaged or replaced with a much shorter cable for people who don't need a 9ft cable.
